It has been a few weeks since the first Days On End Festival and now that the dust has well and truly settled and we have had time to reflect, we want to thank a few people whose advice, generosity, experience and all-round good will helped this festival happen. It was an absolutely fantastic weekend and has definitely put us in a great position to do more in the future so keep watching this page.

In no particular order, a huge thanks to Danny McCarthy and Mick O’Shea; Paul Hegarty, Dobz O’Brien, Donal and all the NSF; Jim and Albert and the staff at Gulpd; Irene Murphy and everyone who took part in the exhibition; Joe, Emer, Ger, Pamela Myers, Katrina and all members of Sample Studios; Pat, Frank and all the staff at the Roundy; all the many many musicians who took part in ‘On’; Sam Doyle, Dave Morris-Rowe, Amber O’Sullivan, Donna and Roisin Foley; Cavan Fyans, Ed Devane, Robby Collins, the fantastic bunch who did the workshop; The Bridges of Madison County, The Maori John Wayne, Daigoro; Jesse Ronneau, Kevin Terry, John Godfrey, Jeff Weeter, Athos Tsiopani; Ruth Clinton and Niamh Moriarty; Daragh McGrath, Vicky Langan, Nathan Fagan, Emer; and everyone who attended and made it a success.

Member List Tonight for On

Posted: Sat | Feb 11th

Anyone wishing to attend On after 10.00pm tonight will need to notify us by emailing members@daysonendfest.com.

The doors will be open every hour on the half hour (e.g. 10.30pm, 11.30pm, etc) until 6.00am.

Please keep in mind that Sample Studios is in a residential area (i.e. be aware of volume levels during the night) and that smoking is prohibited in the building.

On is underway...

On, the 24-hour improvised Drone performance is currently underway in Sample Studios and will continue until 1pm tomorrow (Sunday). Adm is free.

Opening performance at 6.30 this evening

The festival is starting in 2 hours – 6.30pm in the Roundy, a free performance with The Quiet Club and the screening of Gasp At End. For full details about all of today's events, see here.

Lineup Change for Tonight's Gig

Due to illness, Diarmuid MacDiarmada will not be able to perform at tonight's gig in the Triskel.

Daigoro will be performing instead. Diagro uses Novation Lauchpads and wii remote technology, manipulating electronic noise. He will be performing some of his improvised experimental set for the first time. Check out some of his music here: http://soundcloud.com/ruckaos/tracks
